Plain City Advacate Thurs. Aug. 4, 1932
   Funeral services for Mrs. Mamie Mariam Elliott, 69, mother of County
Commissioner Amer F. Elliott were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 O'clock at the
latter's home in W. Fifth street, Marysville, Ohio. Burial was in the cemetery
at Milford Center. She died Sunday evening in a Columbus hospital, following a
long illness.
   Mrs. Elliott was born March 23, 1868, a daughter of James McCloud and Malinda
Converse and was married to Linville H. Elliott, deceased.
   She was a graduate of the Ohio Northern University, and was a member of the
M.E. Lewis Chapel of near Chuckery and also of the D.A.R. Harmony Club of
Rosedale. She was a resident of Union county all her life.
   Surviving are her son, Amer F. Eliott, of Marysville; one brother Jerry B.
McCloud, of Cliffton Springs, N.Y. and one sister, Mrs. G.F. Morse of Tulsa, Okla.
