   Mrs. James Malone (colored) aged 90 years, died at the family home on south
Franklin street last Thursday morning about 7 o'clock. Her maiden name was
Rebecca Mosbay and she was born in Lynchburg, Virginia, in 1818. She came to
Ohio in 1842 and was married to Henry Steward. To them were born four children,
three girls and one boy. Two of the girls and the son are still living. She
married James Malone in 1867 at Marysville and moved to Richwood in 1880, where
they have since resided.
   The funeral was held at the First Baptist church Saturday afternoon, Rev.
Arnold of Dayton, Ohio, officiating. Burial took place at Bethlehem cemetery.
