April 14, 1897, aged 21 years, 4 months and 8 days. She spent her early years in the home of her parents in Union County, receiving the advantages of the common schools, and afterwards removed to Morrow county, where she lived until two years ago, when she removed to this city. Eight years ago she gave her heart to God, having been clearly and thoroughly converted and united with the Friend's church in Morrow county. Upon her removal to Delaware she transferred her membership to the William Street Methodist Episcopal church of which she continued a faithful member until her death. The universal testimony of those who knew her is that she was a faithful christian girl, confirming in her life the confession she made with her lips, constantly revealing her love for and devotion to the church by regular attendance upon its services and faithful improvement of the means of grace. --Delaware Daily Gazette.
