Clara Renua McCloud Robinson, daughter of David and Clariet Morse McCloud, was 
born on the McCloud farm in Union Twp.,Union Co., Nov. 20, 1882. She died in 
Grant Hospital in Columbus, Aug. 22, 1940 at the age of 47 years.
She was married Feb. 14, 1907 to Guy Andrews Robinson. To this union were born 
two children. Elizabeth Penrose, who died in infancy in the Children's Hospital 
in Columbus, and Rachel Renua at home. Her father, mother and four sisters 
preceded her in death.
She attended the old Bridgeport district school and later the school in Milford 
Center, graduating in 1898.
She always lived on the farm where she was born and was a great lover of home 
and family, taking much pride in care of her home and surroundings; often 
expressing hope that she might be permitted to live her entire life at the 
place of her birth, especially hoping the old oak in front of yard under which 
she had played as a child, might live as long as she; also the old dwelling 
house in which she was born, now standing back of present dwelling, replacing 
the one destroyed by fire in 1929 might stand during her life, all of which 
were gratified.
