WIBLEY Funeral services were held Saturday in Postle-Hale Funeral Home, Marysville, Rev. Donald Moceri officiating, for Charles L. Wibley, 81, of 738 Kenny Lane, Marysville. Burial was in Oakdale Cemetery. Mr. Wibley, a retired employee of O.M. Scott Co., was killed in an auto accident occurring late Wednesday morning, Oct. 1, on St. Rt.. 31 near Summersville. A veteran of World War I, he was a life member of P.U.P.- Tent 67 Military Order of Cooties, a past Commander of V.F.W. Post 3320 and a member of O.M. Scott's 20-year club, having worked in their employ for twenty-two years. He was born Oct. 8, 1898 at London, the son of John and Lena Jones Wibley. In 1932 he married the former Mary Speakman who preceded him in death Nov. 16, 1978. He is survived by four sons: Paul of Magnetic Springs, Charles and Richard of Marysville, Kenneth of Lakeview and one daughter, Mrs. Robert McConnahea of Delphos. Also surviving are 19 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren and a sister, Phoebe Sparrow of Springfield.
