All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/oh/ohfiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Virginia Smith vmaggies@yahoo.com November 21, 2007, 4:34 am Source: Union County, Ohio Probate Case #cp192 Written: September 23, 1843 In the name of God, amen, I James Stone of the county of Union and the State of Ohio being weakly in body but sound in mind and memory noing [sic] that it is apinted [appointed?} for all men to die, first I comit [sic] my service to God that gave it and my body to be buried in earth and of my worldly goods, first of all that my just debts and funeral charges be paid then all the rest of my goods and chattels and land and farming tools will and bequeath to my wife Mary and my daughter Milly Stone during the natural life of my wife for her support but after the death of my wife Mary the place or farm shall be rented for what it will fetch so as to keep up the farm in repare [sic] untill the death of my daughter and she shall be maintained out of the rents and property left or remain after my wife’s death. She is to be keep free from want or labour the Executors of my will shall keep a just account of all the expense in and of all the amount of property and rent that comes in to their hands my wife Mary may dispose or divide the house hold furniture beds and closing amoungst her children as she may think rite [sic] and proper. At her death I ordain Lewis Stone and Calib Weaver the Executors of this my last will after the death of my daughter Molley all the property and bond after paying the Executors for their troble [sic] and expence Shall be equally divided amonst the eight remaining children or their heirs to wit: Rhoda Murphy, Barbara While [sp?], Jonathon stone, Levi Stone, the heirs of James Stone, dec [deceased?] Mary Mattock, Noah Stone, Almira Wheeler to have and hold for ever. My desire is Noah Stone and Calib Weaver may have the preference of renting the farm.
