"Sunday, January 29th was the anniversary of the wedding of Mr & Mrs. Barney 
Huewe, which took place fifty years ago on that date.
Mr. & Mrs. Huewe both came from Germany at the age of 18 years old.  They were 
married in St. Peter -Paul church in Petersburg Iowa,in 1889.  They lived at 
Hull, IA for five years, moving  from there to Plymouth County, Remsen, Iowa; 
where they lived for 16 years.  In the Spring of 1910 they established their 
home  on a farm east of town. Which they bought from the late V.T. Reynolds in 
Dell Rapids township.  After living on the farm a number of years they moved 
to town, where they lived for 17 years.  In the spring of 1938 they moved back 
to the farm.  Mr. Huewe was always a prominent farmer.". . . . 
"Mr. & Mrs. Huewe were the parents of eight children: Frank, Henry, of Dell 
Rapids; mrs. Kathering Hess of Hartington Nebraska; Bernard, Albert, Tony, 
Jacob, and Mrs. Ma~ Sylliaasen of Dell Rapids.  All the children were present 
for this event.  They have twelve grandchildren.
Mr. Huewe has one brother, Henry, living at Melrose Minn.  . . . Hr. Huewe has 
a brother and a sister living in Germany.

Additional Comments:
I have a zerox copy of two newspaper articles.  They both report on the 50th 
wedding anniversery celebration of Mr. & Mrs. Barney Huewe.  I would 
appreciate a copy of any records someone finds regarding these people list.
I don't know how to find the county for this listing sorry.
