Harvey F. Gipe, 77, of 1021 Allingham St. died at 12:28 pm Sat. in St. Joseph 
Medical Center in Ft. Wayne, IN.
He was born on July 29, 1912 in VWC, a son of Allluvi (Lou) and Amanda Ellen 
(Shook) Gipe. On June 15, 1931 he married the former Helena Kampf, and she 
survives. Other survivors include two daughters, two sisters, Mrs. Ilo Hines 
of Rt. 2 and Mrs. Myrtle Davis of 1014 Allingham St., 4 Grandchildren, and 3 
Great-grandchilldren. He was preceded in death by a son, Billy Eugene, 2 
brothers, and 5 sisters. Mr. Gipe was a painter jat Kennedy Kit for 35 yrs., 
retiring in 1976. He was a member of the First United Brethren-in-Christ 
Church.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Wed. in the church, with the Rev. 
John Goodwin to officiate. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery
Calling hours are from 7-9 pm today and from 2-9 pm Tues. in the Alspach-
Gearhart Funeral Home and one hour prior to services in the church. Preferred 
memorials are to the church.
