Aged Retired Farmer Dead
David Hughes, 87, York Twp. Resident Over Half Century

	David Hughes, 87, retired farmer, died Friday at the home of his 
daughter, Mrs. Osie Swigart, in York Twp. after a prolonged illness.
	The deceased, who had been a resident of York Township for more than 
50 years, is survived, besides Mrs. Swigart, by another daughter, Mrs. Emmett 
Goodwin, of Lima, and a son, Emery Hughes, of York Township.
	Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:30pm, at the Tomlinson 
Church, on the county line.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.
