Highly Esteemed Resident of Van Wert County Passes Away at Home of 
Daughter

Mrs. S.J. DIEHL, widow of Samuel J. DIEHL, died Friday nightat the home 
of her daughter, Mrs. H.J. HOVERMAN, of Southeast of town, following a 
paralytic stroke.  Mrs. DIEHL was aged 76 years and was held in high 
esteem by a large number of friends throughout the county.  She is 
survived by a brother, George BOYER, of South Washington street and the 
following children: Mrs. H.J. HOVERMAN, of Southwest of town, Mrs. A.C. 
GRONAU of Canton, Mrs. A.F. JONES, of Jackson, Michigan, Mrs. Daniel 
ACKOM, of South Washington street, Mrs. Ollie FOWLER, of Fort Wayne, 
and Mrs. C.C. BROWN, of Decatur, Indiana.  The funeral will be held 
Monday morning, at 10:00 o'clockm at the First United Brethren Church.  
Interment will be made at Woodland cemetery.
