Van Wert Times Bulletin, March 13, 1932
Mrs. Sarah Shook, as highly esteemed resident of Spencer St., died this 
morning at her home after a lingering illness.  She was for many years a 
resident of Harrison Twp., having removed to Van Wert in 1918.  Her direct 
survivors are her husband and nine children.  The funeral will be held Monday 
morning, at 10:00 o’clock, at the United Brethern in Christ Church, corner of 
Race and Frothingham St.  Internment will be made at Woodland Cemetery.
