APPENDICITIS OPERATION FATAL

DELPHOS, Aug. 24—Ralph T. Slusser, 34, of Van Wert, is dead following an 
operation for appendicitis at the Van Wert-co hospital.

Slusser was born in Columbus Grove and lived in Van Wert for 25 years.  He was 
employed at the plant of the Rapid Bottle Washer Co., in Delphos, in the 
capacity of secretary and production manager.  He was a brother-in-law to the 
owner of the company, Harry T. Beckman, also of Van Wert.

Surviving are his widow, formerly Miss Velma O’Neill, two sons, Robert and 
Gordon, his father, O. J. Slusser, of Lima, and one sister, Mrs. H. T. Beckman.

Funeral services were held today at St. Marks Lutheran church at Van Wert.  
Burial was made in Woodlawn cemetery.
