Land Deed: Elizabeth Cain to David McQuade- March 26, 1874, Vinton Co. Ohio
Know all men by these presents: That I Elizabeth Cain the Grantor, in 
consideration of the sum of seventy five dollars in hand paid by David Mc Quade 
the Grantee, do give, grant, bargain, sell and convey unto the said grantee, 
his heirs and assigns the following described premises, situated in the County 
of vinton State of Ohio, to wit the undivided half of the south half of the 
north west quarter of the north west quarter of section number one (1) township 
number 11 (11) of range number seventeen (17) of land subject to sale at 
Chillicothe Ohio, containing ten acres and fifty hundreds of acres. To have and 
to hold the above granted and bargained premises, with the appurtenances 
thereto belonging unto the said grantee, his heirs and assigns forever. And I 
Elizabeth Cain do for hisself and heirs covenant with the said Grantee his 
heirs and assigns that at s?? until ?  of these presents, she was  well seized 
of the premises  as a good and indefrasible estate in Fee Simple. and have good 
right to bargain and sell the same in manner and form as above written, and 
that the same are free from all  encumbrances whatsoever, and will warrant and 
defend said premises, with the appurtenances, to the said Grantee his heirs and 
assigns forever against all lawful claimed and demands of all persons 
whatsoever. In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 25th 
day of March, in the year of our Lord, one Thousand Eight hundred and seventy
