Amos Dean 18th Inf H company Ohio Vols

Enlisted at Athens Ohio on the 12th day of September 1861 to serve 3 years   
living at the time in McArthur township, Vinton Ohio. 

Amos was born Bucks Co Pa. 

Enlisted at the age of 42  

he was five feet nine 1/2 high 
complexion (Fair) 
Eyes (Hazel) 
Hair (Dark) 

A few battles mentioned he fought in, were: 
Battle at Bowling Green, Kentucky Feb 15 1862.
Battle at Athens, Alabama on May1 1862. 
Battle at Stones River, Tennessee Dec 31 1862. 

Discharged June 10 1863 as full Corporal with "chronic Diarrhola" 

Amos died Jan 17 1882 in Annapolis Mo.
