Amos was born Bucks Co Pa. Enlisted at the age of 42 he was five feet nine 1/2 high complexion (Fair) Eyes (Hazel) Hair (Dark) A few battles mentioned he fought in, were: Battle at Bowling Green, Kentucky Feb 15 1862. Battle at Athens, Alabama on May1 1862. Battle at Stones River, Tennessee Dec 31 1862. Discharged June 10 1863 as full Corporal with "chronic Diarrhola" Amos died Jan 17 1882 in Annapolis Mo.
