"The Alumni association held an enthusastic meeting Tuesday night at the
home of Miss Ethel Beckley. Committeess were appointed to arrange for the
alumni banquet. They will meet and report at a meeting at the home of Joseph
Howell, Monday night at 7 o'clock. All members of the association are urged
to be present"

"Exercises of McArthur High School to Be Held Thursday Evening May 23."

"Four Young Ladies and Five Young Men Who Have Finished the Course."

"The commencement exercises of the senior class of the McArthur High School
will be held on Thursday evening May 23, Following are the graduates and
their subjects:

Prepare for the Peace Above You - Pauline Asbury
To Him Who Waits - Lena Clark
The Initiative and Referendum Pro - Martin Murphy
Requiremnts - Marie Specht
Why We Should Maintain a Strong Navy - Carl Smith
Ultimate Government - Dowd Timms
Lost Opportunities - Bertha Walton
The Modern Euphrates- Harry Wyman

Marie Lippert and Anna Coultrap were members of the class. Miss Lippert
moved to Williamsburg and will be graduated with the class there this
spring, Miss Coultrap, on account of trouble with her eyes, did not attempt
to finish all the work of the senior class and will finish next year.
