  Vinton County Newspaper  January 14, 1960
Nathan Stanley Allman died at his home in Prattsville, Ohio. He was 78 years 
old. He was married to the former Sarah Malone. He was the son of John  and 
Eliza (Caldwell) Allman and was  born in Vinton County February 11, 1881.

He was preceded in death by his wife Sarah and a son Elmer who was killed in 
World War II.

He was survived by 6 chldren  Alfred of Dundas, Everett and John both of Rt 2 
McArthur and Mrs Margaret Peters of Zaleski, Mrs Mary Chapman of Columbus and 
Mrs Eva Le May of Route 2 McArthur.Also 2 brothers and 2 sisters survived him 
which include Elmer of McArthur, Roy of Hamden, Mrs Martha Weist of Columbus 
and Mrs Addie Kennard of Dundas and 26 grandchildren and ten great 
grandchildren.
He was interred at Prattsville Cemetery, Prattsville, Vinton County, Ohio

Additional Comments:
Nathan Stanley Allman also had another wife by the name of Sarah "Sadie" 
Sherwood. She was born in November 1886. She died January 16, 1909. She is 
also buried in Prattsville Cemetery, Vinton County, Ohio. His two sons Alfred 
and Everett were by this wife. They were married before 1904
