inton County Newspaper after   April 17, 1973
Roy E. Allman of Hamden aged 70 died on April 17, 1973 in the Chillicothe 
Hospital, Chillicothe, Ohio.  He had been ill for a few years. He was the son 
of John and Eliza Ann *(Caudill)* Allman. He worked for the Vinton County 
Schools as a custodian. He was a mason and a member of the Free Will Baptist 
Church. 

He was survived by his wife Mary (Brewer) Allman and children   Roy Jr.,  
Jerold C.,Gerold L., Rebecca ,Barbara,Theresa, Nancy, Sandy, and Martha.

He was buried in the Hamden Cemetery, Vinton County, Ohio

Additional Comments:
The newspaper had Caudill as the maiden name for his mother which should have 
read Caldwell. At the time of their father's death the children lived in the 
places as listed below; Roy Jr. of Clarksburg,West Virginia,  Jerold C. and 
Barbara of Hamden, Ohio, Rebecca Crow of Kanova, West Virginia,  Theresa 
Campbell of Flint, Michigan, Gerold L., Nancy Rood and Martha Weist of 
Columbus,Ohio and Sandy Womeldorf of Wellston, Ohio.
