Vinton County Ohio Newsppaer aft  April 21 1945
The wife of William Elmer Allman received word that her husband  had been 
killed in action on April 21, 1945 in Germany. He was the son of Mr and Mrs 
Nathan Allman.
Before he was in the Army he worked with his father in the timber business.
He left behind his widow and 3 small children.

Additional Comments:
The wife of William Elmer Allman was Medrith Lucille (Peters) Allman. After 
his death she married Harold S. Reiter.  The 3 small children were Ernie, 
Roger and Gladys Allman. Medrith had 3 children with Mr. Reiter as well.
