  Vinton County Newspaper July 9, 1970
Elmer Allman aged 72 died in Logan, Ohio. He had been a resident of McArthur, 
Vinton County. He was also a World War 1 veteran. He was buried in Elk 
Cemetery, McArthur, Vinton County, Ohio.
He was the son of John and Louisa (Caldwell) Allman born on January 21, 1892 
in Vinton County, Ohio, His wife was Carrie (Dearth) Allman who survived him 
as well as a brother Roy Allman. The children that survived him were   
Bernice, and Floyd of McArthur,  Frank of Columbus, Ruth of Dundas and Georgia 
of McArthur.

Additional Comments:
Bernice married Paul Daugherty, Floyd married Doris Bobo  Frank married 
Medrith, Ruth married James Prater Jr of Dundas and  Georgia married Jackie 
Lee Ferguson .
Elmer and Carrie were married September 07, 1920 in McArthur, Vinton County, 
Ohio
