Vinton County Ohio Newspaper McArthur Democrat Enquirer August 2, 1888

Mr Anthony Cassill died on Friday July 20, 1888. He had been an invalid for 
some time and was confined to his room. Mr. Cassill was born July 9th 1820 and 
at the time of his death was 62 years and 11 days old.
Mr Cassill was married May 25th 1840 to Miss Mary Ann Radclif. To this 
marriage was born  six children, four of whom survive their father, two having 
died in infancy. Mrs Cassill died April 22, 1860.

 His second marriage was on December 27, 1860 to Miss Mary L Martindill , and 
from this marriage  two children were born, one of whom survives her father.

Anthony Cassill was baptized into the Disciple Church many years
ago and was a consistent member until his  death. He lived to see six of his
children grow to maturity, and the five who survive him, with their mother
are all also members of the same church. 

Some weeks before his death he made all the arrangements for his funeral.
The services wer held at the Union church near his home on Saturday, with Elder
A.J. Watt officiating. Burial was in the  Cassill cemetery.
