SIMON DOLES
Service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday in the Pleasant Valley Church, Skunk 
Hollow, for Simon Doles, 75, a retired coal miner.  Mr. Doles who had lived in 
Ray and was the father of Clifford Doles of Chillicothe, died Friday at Athens.
He was born in Vinton County on Oct. 31, 1885, the son of Thomas and Nancy 
Lytle Doles.  His wife, Eva, predeceased him.  Surviving in addition to the 
son, are nine grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. 
The Rev. James Collins will officiate at the services, with burial to follow in 
the Doles Cemetery.  Friends may call at the Wrightsel Funeral Home in McArthur.

Additional Comments:
Two sons, Rollo E. and Von E. Doles, both of Chillicothe, preceded him in death.
