She was the widow of John Salts, whose death occured May 3, 1877. She is survived by two sons Charles and John, and two daughters Mrs Belle Franklin and Mrs Cora Winters. Three sons Willis, Oren and Homer, preceded her in death. Funeral services were conducted by Rev Stevens.Burial was in the Hixon Cemetery." Additional Comments: Ivy's middle name was Catherine. She was born in Vinton County, Ohio. She married John Henry Salts on May 24, 1862 in Vinton County. Her parents were Henry and Elizabeth Cassell Hoffhine.
