April 14, 1897, aged 21 years, 4 months and 8 days. She spent her early years in the home of her parents in Union County, receiving the advantages of the common schools, and afterwards removed to Morrow county, where she lived until two years ago, when she removed to this city. Eight years ago she gave her heart to God, having been clearly and thoroughly converted and united with the Friend's church in Morrow county. Upon her removal to Delaware she transferred her membership to the William Street Methodist Episcopal church of which she continued a faithful member until her death. The universal testimony of those who knew her is that she was a faithful christian girl, confirming in her life the confession she made with her lips, constantly revealing her love for and devotion to the church by regular attendance upon its services and faithful improvement of the means of grace. --Delaware Daily Gazette. The deceased was well known about Milford Center, near where she was born December 6th, 1876, her parents being Erastus and Addie Parthemore. Several years ago the family moved to Morrow County, and two years ago removed to Delaware. The deceased united with the Friends in Morrow county, and later became a member of William street M.E. Church, in Delaware. The universal testimony of those who knew her, is that she was a faithful, Christian girl, confirming in her life the profession she made with her lips. Typhoid fever was the cause of her demise, but during all her illness and suffering, no word of complaint came from her. With patience and resignation she endured it all, and having lived such a life, there is every reason to believe that she is now at rest forever in her heavenly home. Additional Comments: Interment in Mitchel Cemetery Darby Twp. Union Co. Ohio. Erastus is buried here also.
