Clara Renua McCloud Robinson, daughter of David and Clariet Morse McCloud, was born on the McCloud farm in Union Twp.,Union Co., Nov. 20, 1882. She died in Grant Hospital in Columbus, Aug. 22, 1940 at the age of 47 years. She was married Feb. 14, 1907 to Guy Andrews Robinson. To this union were born two children. Elizabeth Penrose, who died in infancy in the Children's Hospital in Columbus, and Rachel Renua at home. Her father, mother and four sisters preceded her in death. She attended the old Bridgeport district school and later the school in Milford Center, graduating in 1898. She always lived on the farm where she was born and was a great lover of home and family, taking much pride in care of her home and surroundings; often expressing hope that she might be permitted to live her entire life at the place of her birth, especially hoping the old oak in front of yard under which she had played as a child, might live as long as she; also the old dwelling house in which she was born, now standing back of present dwelling, replacing the one destroyed by fire in 1929 might stand during her life, all of which were gratified. Tuesday, April 20, 1920, at the age of 80 years and 5 months. The Deceased was born in Falsburg, Licking County, Ohio, where he grew to manhood. He enlisted in the military service at the beginning of the Civil War, and served for four years. On September 22, 1866 he was united in marriage to Miss Matilda Little. To this union was born twelve children, one son having died in infancy. In 1883, he moved to Wisconsin, and settled on a farm in Willow Springs, where he resided until his death. He leaves behind to mourn thier loss, his beloved wife, six sons and 5 daughters, 21 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild. The old soldiers met the funeral procession and sounded "taps" at the grave after their grand army salute. Mr. Dunn was an army veteran with post membership in Ohio. The funeral was held at the home on Friday afternoon, and burial was in Graceland cemetery, Mineral Point, Rev. J Birrell, officiating. SEVER Wilbur Edward Sever Sr., 58, 5491 Good Hope rd, Frankfort Rt. 2, died 12:55 p.m. Sunday at Ross County Medical Center. Born June 18, 1920, in Austin, he was the son of Charles and Nellie Hollar Sever Sr. Mr. Sever was a farmer and carpenter. He was married January 2, 1941, to Herma Reeves, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Ronnie (Ruth Ann) Reisinger, Clarksburg, and Mrs. Marvin (Rose Marie) Fout, Frankfort; a son, Wilbur E. Sever Jr., Frankfort Rt. 2; seven grandchildren; five sisters, Mrs. George (Vivian) Smith, Fairborn; Mrs. Ralph (Virginia) Bradley, West Carrollton; Mrs. Ralph (Mary Lou) Tangeman, Dayton; Mrs. Thomas (Elizabeth) Sowers, Clarksburg, and Mrs. Tony (Paulene) Patterson, Frankfort, and three brothers, Martin, Frankfort Rt. 1; Donald, Frankfort Rt. 2, and James, Washington C. H. Another brother, Charles, preceded him in death. Funeral service will be held 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Fisher Funeral Home, Frankfort, with Rev. C. William Parsons officiating and burial in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the Frankfort emergency squad.
