Burial in the Schwaberow Cemetery. Mr. Fark reached the age of 82 years, 3 months and 24 days having been born April 7, 1853, at Springfield, Ohio. He was married twice. In 1880 he married Miss Caroline Harjehausen, whose death occurred August 22, 1886 and in 1890 he was united in marriage with Christina Bambauer, who also preceded him in death June 3, 1931. Mr. Fark was one of the most successful farmers in the Kettlerville district. Throughout his long residence there he was affilated with the congregation of Immanuel’s Church. Surviving members of the immediate family are the son, Lafe Fark Kettlerville; two daughters, Mrs. Herbert Burmeister, New Bremen; Mrs. Ed Harjehausen, Dalhart, Texas; and a stepson, William Bambauer, Piggott, Arkansas. Death was due to complications from which he had been ailing for some time. On August 27, 1881, Mr. Fark was born in Shelby County to the late George and Caroline Herjehausen Fark. On December 5, 1907, he married Anna Huelsmeyer who died in 1917. Surviving are three children, Mrs. Homer (Norma) Staley, R.R. 1, Sidney, Marvin Fark, Lima and Mrs. Roy (La Rue) McCormick, St. Mary's, eight grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and one half sister, Mrs. Edward (Amelia) Harjehausen of New Bremen. Mr. Fark was a member of the Emmanuel E. and R. United Church of Christ in Kettlersville and had been a retired farmer. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at the Vornholt funeral home in New Bremen. The Rev. George Diehm will officiate. Burial will take place in the Schwaberow cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after Wednesday noon until the hour of the service. Mrs. Fark, whose maiden name was May, reached the age of 66 years 11 months and 24 days. She was married twice. Upon her marriage to Mr. Fark, they established a home on a farm west of Kettlersville. Mrs. Fark, who was admired by all who knew her, was a devout member of the congregation of Emmanuel church, Kettlersville. Besides the husband, she leaves two daughters, Mrs. Ed Harjehausen, Dalhart, Tx. and Mrs. Herbert Burmeister, New Bremen; a son Wm. Bambauer, Lafe, Ark; and a stepson, Fred Fark, Kettlersville.
