He was taken suddenly ill last Friday afternoon and his condition had been serious since that time. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at two o'clock at the house. The Odd Fellows will have charge of the services. Henry Coller was one of a family of fourteen children and was the son of Jacob and Lydia Coller being born in Ashland County. Had he lived until next September he would have been seventy-seven years old. When a young man he came to Bowling Green and at the time of his death had resided here for forty-four years. He conducted a grocery store in this city for many years and later took up farming and gardening. When his home on Wooster street was purchased for the Normal site he moved to South Prospect street. His wife, nee Mary Anne Smith, proceeded him to the grave by two years after they had been married for nearly fifty years. One son, Claude of Toledo, passed away three years ago. Eleven brothers and sisters have also proceeded the deceased to the grave. He was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge for thirty-five years. He was a kind and loving father and will be greatly missed by his many friends in the community. Surviving are five children: Mrs Josephine Thomas, at home; Arthur and Herbert Coller of this city; Wallace Coller and Mrs Minnie Davis of Toledo. One brother, Daniel Coller, of this city, and one sister, Mrs Caroline Weatherholt, of Toledo also survive him. Mr Coller was one of the instruments through which the city was built up. In 1872 he built the Coen Bros. store-room which was recently burnt down, and conducted a grocery there until 1881, when he moved on his farm known as the Elder farm two miles southeast of Bowling Green. Upon returning to this city in 1887, he built the store-room now occupied by Munn & McCrory grocers; and in 1889 he and Attorney J. C. H. Elder built the brick block on South Main Street north of the Church of Christ, and now Henry Apel's garage. He also erected the building occupied now by F. E. Smith, monument dealer; and also built several residences in the city. Mrs Henry Coller, after lingering for ten days between life and death, passed away Saturday evening at 9:20. Mary A. Smith was born in Burbank, Wayne Co, O.. She was united in marriage to Henry Coller at the same place. They came to Bowling Green in 1872 where they have since resided. She was a lady of education and culture teaching school several years before her marriage. She was of a quiet and retiring disposition, devoting her time to her home and family. She had been in poor health for years but since the death of her son Claude, she had failed greatly. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband and children: Wallace and May of Toledo; Josephine, Arthur and Herbert of Bowling Green. Being afflicted with rheumatism, she did not go much, but she lived a true Christian in her home and was always thinking of the welfare of others, even in her last sickness. The husband losses a faithful wife and the children a kind and loving mother. The funeral will be conducted at the home, 215 South Prospect street, Tuesday at 1 p.m.. He had been taken to the hospital last night. Mr Coller had been ailing for more than a year and his weakened condition contributed to his sudden death after pneumonia set in. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:00 at Deck's Funeral Home with interment at Oak Grove Cemetery. The remians will be taken to the Coller home at 421 Clough Street, tomorrow morning where friends may view until the funeral. Born July 5, 1871, Mr Coller had lived in Wood County all his life. He was married to Olive Van Buskirk of Bowling Green, and she proceeded him in death in 1925. He was a quiet, sincere man who found infinite pleasure in his home. Despite his quiet nature, he was friendly and made many acquaintances during his long years in Bowling Green. Most of his life he had spent as a farmer but during the past few years, he had been in retirement except for a truck garden he planted each year. He is survived by three sons, Floyd A Coller; Maynard Coller, Columbus and Kenneth Coller, Perrysburg; one daughter, Mrs Yeulalah Lewis, Bowling Green; a brother Herbert Coller; Bowling Green, and two sisters, Mrs Josephine Thomas, Bowling Green, and Mrs. May Davis, of Toledo. Coller Is Dead Mrs Arthur C Coller was suddenly stricken Thursday morning at her home No. 421 Clough st., Bowling Green and died in the evening about six o'clock. She had been in ill health from a complication of diseases for a number of years. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at two o'clock at the home, Rev. J. W. Miles officiating and the body will be laid to rest in Oak Grove Cemetery. Olive M. Van Buskirk was born July 5, 1878, and died August 12, 1926. Her marriage to Arthur C. Coller was solemnized in December, 1895. She had been a lifelong resident of Wood County. Early in life she joined the U. B. Church and enjoyed the esteeem of members of the church and of all who came in contact with her. She is survived by her husband and these children; Floyd A who will teach school at Niles, Ohio this year; Kenneth C., of Rossford; Maynard E, at home; Mrs William (Yeulalah) Lewis of Bowling Green; her father, William Van Buskirk, of this city; her sisters, Mrs Robert (Josephine) Picard, of Pleasant Lake, Ind.; Mrs Charles (Luella) Fairchilds and Mrs W. Van Bus Kirk Called By Death After Eight Days' Illness-- Funeral Services Sunday Morning Article- Mrs Martha Van Buskirk, wife of William Van Buskirk, quietly passed away at her home at 201 Enterprise st. this morning at nine o'clock after an illness lasting since a week ago last Wednesday with pneumonia. Her death was expected as she had been hovering between life and death for the past few days. Rev. M. J. Maxwell will officiate at the services which will be held at the late- residence Sunday morning at ten o'clock. Interment will be made at Oak Grove Cemetery. Mrs Van Buskirk was born near Perrysburg and had spent all of her life in Wood County. She was 72 years, two months and 20 days old at the time of her death. She was united in marriage forty years ago to Wm. Van Buskirk who survives her. A son, Carrie, was killed three weeks ago in an accident on the C., H. & D. road. His lifeless body was found by Forest Gustin as he drove over the railroad track. Surviving are the husband, and five children. Mrs Peter Potter, Mrs Arthur Coller, Mrs Howard Shearer and Mrs W. E. Turritin of Bowling Green, and Wm. Van Buskirk Jr., of Cleveland. Additional Comments: Martha (Van Buskirk) Beaupre was born to John Charles and Mary Beaupre and was one of sixteen children. Although he had been ill for five years, he had only become seriously so recently and had been bedfast for five weeks. His death was due to his advanced age and a complication of diseases. funeral services will be held on Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the home of his daughter Josie Picard, at No. 425 East Wooster Street. Rev. A. S. Bierly will officiate and burial will be made in Oak Grove Cemetery. William Van Buskirk was born on the first day of the year, 1852 in Seneca County to John and Liza Van Buskirk. When a youth he came to Bowling Green with his parents and had lived here all the rest of his life. When younger he farmed in and around the city. On October 16, 1874 he was united in marriage with Martha Beaupry. Six children were born to this union, two daughter and a son preceeding their father to death. Their mother also died twelve years ago. Mr Van Buskirk had a wide circle of friends among the older residents of Bowling Green. He was a good and kind man and was very well liked by all of the many people who knew him. he is survived by three children; Mrs Josie Picard and Mrs Louella Fairchild, both of Bowling Green, and Willie Van Buskirk, of Cleveland; ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He also leaves a brother and two sisters, Charles Van Buskirk and Mrs Lyza Stillwell, both of Toledo, and Mrs Ella Wolf, who lives in Indiana.
