On Nov.29, 1957, he married the former Mrs. E. Brenice Ziegler HANSON. She survives with a son, Marvin of Pemberton, a daughter, Mrs. Vernon (Janet) SCHAFFNER of Botkins; four stepdaughters, Mrs. Jack (Fairlie) EARL of Lakeview, Mrs. Ted (Sandra) ROLLINS, of New Bremen, Mrs. Ron (Karen) COEN of Houston, Texas, and Victoria SMOCK of Sidney; 24 grandchildren and 16 great- grandchildren; two sisters, Norma STALEY of Sidney, and Mrs. Roy (La Rue) MCCORMICK of St. Marys. Mr. Fark was a member of the Kettlersville Immanuel United Church of Christ. He was a retired farmer and had also been employed at the Monarch Machine Tool Co. from 1941 until 1973 when he retired due to ill health. Services will be Monday at 1:30 p.m. at Cromes Funeral Home. He had been suffering of heart disease for some time but had seemed no worse yesterday. Mr. FARK was the son of the late HENRY and ANNA KETTLER FARK. He had been born September 5, 1879 at New Bremen. On October 22, 1903 he married CLARA BRUEGGEMAN and she survives him together with four children: ELMER FARK, New Bremen, HERBERT FARK, Celina, Mrs. ALFRED SUDMAN, Anna R.R. and MARY JEAN FARK, at home. Two children are deceased. Six brothers and three sisters are: GEORGE, CHARLES and IRVIN FARK, New Bremen, Mrs. OSCAR HUCKERIEDE and ED FARK, Greenburg, Kansas, HENRY FARK, Ft. Wayne, Mrs. GEORGE KONEN and Mrs. AMANDA KONEN, Dayton, and FRED FARK, Chicago. He was a member of St. Peter's Evangelical Reformed Church. Mr. FARK had a great many friends. Funeral services are arranged for Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the family residence with the Rev. Theodore G. Papsdorf officiating. Burial will take place in the German Protestant Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 o'clock Friday evening at the residence. Harjehausen Dies AT 75 New Bremen- MRS. AMELIA S. HARJEHAUSEN of Mendon, former resident of New Bremen, died of a cerebral hemorrhage at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday while enroute by ambulance to Otis Hospital, Celina. Born in Kettlersville, Sept. 20, 1894, she was a daughter of GEORGE and SARAH MAY FARK. She was married Nov. 9, 1922 to EDWARD D. HARJEHAUSEN, who died in 1964. She moved to Mendon then make her home with a daughter. Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. BASIL (LUCILLE)DRAVING of Covington, and Mrs. CLAUDE (LEONA) HANSEL of Mendon; a son, HAROLD HARJEHAUSEN of Bloomington, Calif. and seven grandchildren. A sister MAHALIA FARK BURMEISTER, and a brother LAFE G. FARK, proceded her in death. Mrs. HARJEHAUSEN was a member of St. Paul Untied Church of Christ and a charter member of the Ladies Aide Society of that church. Rev. Roger Perl will conduct services at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Vornholt Funeral Home with burial in Schwaberow Cemetery State Route 274, east of New Bremen.
