KEPLINGER Well-known inventor VIRGIL E. KEPLINGER, 67, of 358 South st, Greenfield, died 3:05 p.m. Tuesday at Mt. Carmel Hospital, Columbus, after a four-year illness. He was born Dec. 20, 1911, in Hillsboro, the son of LANDON and MARY SWEENEY KEPLINGER. Mr. Keplinger achieved success as an inventor, obtaining patents for 29 of his creations. He also worked as an insurance investigator with the field supervision division of the National Traveler's Life Insurance Co. of Des Moines, Iowa. An avid collector of Indian relics, Mr. Keplinger operated Indian Head Museum in part of his home. He was listed in "Who's Who in Indian Relics" and a member of the Red Man Club. A veteran of the Ohio National Guard, he was a member of the 1,000,000 Round Table, Highland County Democrats, Highland County Senior Citizens and First Presbyterian Church. His wife, IRIS M. KEPLINGER, died May 14, 1970. He is survived by one son, CHARLES WAYNE KEPLINGER, of Cincinnati; two daughters, IRIS MARIE KEPLINGER and TONITA JAN KEPLINGER, both of Greenfield; two grandchildren, ANITA CARLA KEPLINGER and ALESSANDRO CORRADO KEPLINGER; one sister, Mrs. ETHEL DONNELLS of Greenfield; one brother, HAROLD KEPLINGER of Greenfield; and several nieces and nephews. A son, V. DEAN KEPLINGER, died Feb. 12, 1968. Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Murray's Funeral Home, Greenfield, with Rev. John Robison officiating and burial in Greenfield Cemetery. She was born at 7:40 p.m. Saturday in Medical Center Hospital to DOUGLAS and RHONDA LOWE WISECUP of Bourneville. Surviving in addition to her parents are her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. GENE WISECUP, Mingo Road, and Mr. and Mrs. JAMES E. LOWE, Chillicothe. Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Smith-Moore Funeral Home, Bainbridge, with the Revs. Lewis Viar and Lloyd Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Twin Township Cemetery. (BUD) WORCESTER, 54, Lower Twin rd, Lyndon, died at 9:50 p.m. Thursday April 19, at Greenfield Municipal Hospital following a lingering illness. Born Aug. 14, 1924, in Franklin County, Ohio, he was the son of DOR OTIS WORCESTER and ETHEL SPURGON WORCESTER. He was a member of International Pentecostal Church of Christ, a World War II U.S. Army veteran and a 14-year employe of Collins Packing Company. On Feb. 7, 1959, he married FLORENCE RYAN WORCESTER, who survives. Also surviving are three children, MELISSA K., BRENDA LEE AND ERIC A. WORCESTER, all of Lyndon Rt. 1, and a sister, Mrs. MARY CROSSMAN, Columbus. Service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the church, officiated by Rev. Wayne Combs.
