Miss Emma YEAGER, of Portsmouth, Ohio, died Thursday morning at a quarter to 7 o'clock at the home of her sister, Mrs. A. C. RICHARDSON. Miss Yeager was a resident of Anthony several years ago, and made her home with Mrs. Richardson and during her residence here made many friends and acquaintances. She but recently came from Portsmouth for a visit and being in poor health had hoped our climate would be of benefit to her, but a disease that climate could not affect, had possession of her and day by day her friends watched here grow gradually weatker and weaker until her death came to her relief. She had the benefit of good medical attendance, careful nursing and the help and sympathy of a loving sister, and her last hours were made as comfortable as possible. The funeral was held at the Richardson home, Thursday afternoon, Rev. ENGLE of the Methodist church, officiating, with a choir from the churches. Miss Yeager united with the Baptist church when but 13 years of age and ha! s been a consistent christian ever since. The remains were taken to Portsmouth, Ohio, for burial, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Richardson. The many friends of the deceased in this city heartily sympathize with the afflicted family in their bereavement. ==== KS-FOOTSTEPS Mailing List ==== File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/oh/scioto/obits/yeager43gob.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/ohfiles/ File size: 1.9 Kb ______________________________ ------------------------------ X-Message: #3 Date: Mon, 8 Aug 2005 18:11:35 -0400 From: Archives To: OH-BMD-L@rootsweb.com Message-Id: <200508082211.j78MBZ102692@genrecords.org> Subject: Oh-Franklin Co.
