Death came to Daniel HUMMELL last Saturday morning about 10 o'clock after a prolonged illness. For many months Mr. HUMMELL had gradually been growing weak, and though his death was not unexpected, that did not serve to lessen the sorrow. Deceased was a native of Ohio and was almost fifty-five years of age. He had resided in this community for many years and was a man whom everyone liked. He was a good honest gentleman and his loss is deplored by our citizens. The funeral services were held Monday afternoon in the Christian church at this place, conducted by Rev. WOOD, of the M.E. church. He was buried in the Oak Lawn cemetery according to the ritual of the G.A.R. of which order he was a faithful member. ______________________________ ------------------------------ X-Message: #2 Date: 1 Feb 2005 14:13:45 -0000 From: Archives To: OH-BMD-L@rootsweb.com Message-ID: <20050201141345.29727.qmail@mail.best1-host.com> Subject: Oh-Licking-Perry Co.
