RALPH SMART RALPH SMART, 90, of Seaman, died Saturday, November 20, 2004, at Clermont Mercy Hospital. He was born in West Union on March 13, 1914, the son of JOHN H. and MARY E. (WYLIE) SMART. He was a member of the May Hill Church of Christ, where he served as elder and Sunday School teacher for many years. In recent years, he attended the Seaman Church of Christ. He was a graduate of Seaman High School in the class of 1932. He served on the Seaman Board of Education for many years, and retired from the U.S. Postal Service and farming. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, RUTH (VANZANT) SMART, on June 25, 2004, five brothers and four sisters. He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, RONNIE and DEBORAH SMART of Kissimmee, Fla., two daughters and sons-in-law, LOUISE and JOHN McKAMEY of Leesburg, DOROTHY and EDDIE GEESLIN of Seaman, nine grandchildren, GREG (TOSCA) GEESLIN, TED (SANDY) GEESLIN, DERIC (LEEANNA) McKAMEY, BRAD (LORI) McKAMEY, JULIE (MICHAEL) ALFIERI, MARLA (CHRIS) YOUNG, RONDA (ELI) WESTFALL, KERI (JUSTIN) HALLECK, RYAN SMART, 14 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 23 at 10 a.m. at the Seaman Church of Christ, with Ernie Barrett officiating. Burial will follow in the Coss Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday from 6-8 p.m., at the Seaman Church of Christ and on Tuesday one hour prior to service time at 10 a.m. at the church. ROBERT C. COIL Former Washington C.H. resident ROBERT C. COIL, 64, of 11850 Casa Grande Lane, Middletown, Calif. died on Thursday, April 25, 2002 at his residence. His death was sudden and unexpected. Mr. Coil was born on March 26, 1938 in Fayette County to SAM G. and CATHERINE ALTA HAPPENY COIL. He had lived the past 30 years in California. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1955 to 1959. He formerly was an air traffic controller at Cleveland Hopkins Airport and at Oakland Airport in California. He had owned and operated Eastbay Builders and later the Coil Construction Co. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, SAM J. and EDWIN L. COIL; and three sisters, RUTH SOUTHWARD, MARY CLEMANS, and JESSIE WASHBURN. Mr. Coil is survived by a son, MICHAEL COIL; and a daughter, ROBBI BLOCK, both of Santa Rosa, Calif.; two granddaughters, KENDALL and WHITNEY BLOCK; two brothers, WILLIAM RAY COIL and LARRY (MARLENE) COIL; and a sister, MILDRED REIBER, all of Washington C.H.; and several nieces and nephews.
