MILLER JAMES (BUS) MILLER, 62, of 200 N. Eleventh St., Greenfield, died at 10:45 a.m. Jan. 15, 1990 in Grant Hospital, Columbus. Born Nov. 27, 1927 in Highland County, he was the son of JAMES M. MILLER and JESSIE M. (PUMMELL) MILLER. A U.S. Army World War II veteran, Mr. Miller was a member of the United Brethern Church and was formerly the Greenfield Cemetery superintendent. Mr. Miller coached Pony and Little League basketball and baseball for 15 years. He was a former member and past president of the Dad's Club, and former recreational director of the Greenfield Recreation and Civic Center. He is survived by his wife, HELEN L. (DOWNARD) MILLER, whom he married May 14, 1948; two sons, ALLEN L. MILLER of Hillsboro and CHARLES E. MILLER, U.S. Army Scheveinfurt Base, Germany; seven grandchildren; two brothers, AUSTIN MILLER of Leesburg and ROBERT MILLER of Greenfield; two sisters, Mrs. LEO (JULIA) SNOW of Wilmington and Mrs. EDWARD (BETTY JEAN) GRATE of Reynoldsburg. DONALD C. MARSH DONALD CHARLES MARSH, 84, of Greenfield, died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2004, at his home following an extended illness. Born Dec. 29, 1919, in Hamilton, he was the son of the late CLYDE E. MARSH and EDNA (BOWMAN) MARSH. He farmed in Clinton, Ross, and Highland Counties before accepting a position with the Ohio Dept. of Agriculture. He was a 1937 graduate of Fairfield High School and a 1941 graduate of Miami University. An Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, he flew 33 B-17 combat missions before being shot down and detained as a POW until liberated in 1945. He was a member of the VFW, Butler County Farm Bureau and formerly Greenfield B.P.O.E.
