H. Stump while at work as engineer at T & O. C. pumping station, was briefly noted, just before going to press, Wednesday morning. Deceased was 62 years of age and was most highly respected by all who knew him. Deceased is survived by his widow, two sons, Deputy County Treasurer Charles R. Stump of this place, and John Stump of Columbus; two daughters, Mrs. William Purcell of Columbus, and Mrs. Owen Bailey of this place; two sisters, Mrs. Edward Allen of Canton, and Mrs. John Richardson of Toboso, and one brother, S. M. Stump of Zanesville. He was a member of Junction City tent of Maccabees, which organization attended his funeral. The funeral services were held Friday afternoon at the First Baptist church, Church street, conducted by Rev. L. T. Ruffner of Millersport, a large assemblage of sorrowing relatives and friends paying the last tribute of respect to his memory. Interment was made in New Lexington cemetery. Beverly, 750 Oakwood avenue. The machine which struck him, driven by a young man, was said to be without lights. Mr. Wolfe is survived by another daughter, Mrs. H. A. Houstle of Columbus, and by two sons, Robert F. and Harry P. Wolfe of Columbus. Mr. Wolfe was a resident of Corning for a number of years, prior to moving to the Capital city where he was well and favorably known.
