Carmel Medical Center in Columbus. He was born Feb. 6, 1925 in Ross County, the son of JOHN BROWN and CORA ESTLE BROWN. He is survived by his wife, BEATRICE MORRIS, whom he married on August 29, 1946; two daughters, MARGENE (GEORGE) BEATTY of Greenfield, and WANDA COKONOUGHER of Bainbridge; one son, JERRY BROWN of Bainbridge; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother, HERBERT BROWN of Leesburg. He was preceded in death by one son, six brothers and three sisters. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 4, at the Smith- Moore Funeral Home in Bainbridge. Troy Villars will officiate. Burial will be in Bainbridge Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 3, at the funeral home. He was born on February 17, 1938 in Fayette County to GRANT KNISLEY and ELVA COKONOUR KNISLEY, both deceased. He had spent most of his life in the Jeffersonville area. He retired from Pennington Bakery. He also had worked at Nickels Bakery and Wonder Bread in Columbus. Survivors include his children VIRGINIA (EMERY) TACKETT and TONDA DUNN all of Washington C.H., KATHY (JEFF) TACKETT of Sedalia, TRESA KNISLEY (JIMMY) STUBBS and RODNEY (STACY) KNISLEY all of Washington C.H. and JAY (DEBBIE) KNISLEY of Waverly; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers CECIL (DOROTHY) KNISLEY and KENNY (CAROL) KNISLEY all of Washington C.H.; sisters KAY (FRANK) KINGERY of Springvalley and JANET (BILL) SHAW of Washington C.H. and the mother of his children EVELYN KNISLEY of Washington C.H.
