She was born Nov. 6, 1880, in Coshocton county, (Ohio) a daughter of Shedrick M. and Sarah K. HORNER GAULT. She was a member of Frazeysburg Presbyterian Church. Her husband, Clyde A. PRESTON, died in 1944. Surviving are a great-niece and several cousins. The brother are also deceased. Services held at Baughman and Sons Funeral Home in Frazeysburg with Rev. David Nawyn officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Newark. Additional Comments: Ohio Deaths, 1958-2002 Records: Emma M. Salem, died Friday, Jan. 30, 1998 at 4:10 p.m. at Fayette Memorial Hospital. He was born June 6, 1918 in Ross County to AUSTIN JAE CRUSIE and MARY KATHRYN BENNETT. He was a member of the South Salem United Methodist Church, served as Sunday School Superintendent, Sunday School teacher and board of trustees. He was a graduate of Buckskin Valley High School, retired from the U.S. Federal Postmaster Service, was a former Buckskin Township Trustee, retired farmer, former employee of the American Pad & Textile, Candle-lite, Johnson Control and API of Washington C.H., and a Constable of Buckskin Township. He is survived by his wife, MILDRED HALL whom he married Oct. 7, 1939; two sons, AUSTIN DAVID CRUSIE of Moore, Okla., and DANIEL LEE CRUSIE of Bainbridge; two daughters, ROSE MARY PRICHARD, of Beallsville; and KATHRYN MAE MINCEY, of Moorehead, Ky.; seven grandchildren, MATTHEW JAE PRICHARD, MARK JEFFRY PRICHARD, SARAH KATHRYN MINCEY, JACOB TYLER MINCEY, SAMUEL ADAM MINCEY, DEREX LEE CRUSIE, MARY JANE CRUSIE; two great grandchildren, RACHAEL KAE PRICHARD, WESLEY AUSTIN PRICHARD; one brother, ROBERT F. CRUSIE; and one sister, ROMAINE BLAZER, both of Greenfield. He was preceded in death by two brothers. The funeral will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the S. Salem United Methodist Church with the Rev. Don Cummans and the Rev. Paul Goshorn officiating with burial in the S. Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Monday at the Murray Funeral Home in Greenfield.
