She was born October 31, 1881 in Williams County, the daughter of Ludwig and Marie Braun. She was married to Adolph D. Farber on Nov. 27, 1902. He died in 1944. She was a member of the Legion Auxiliary and the Stryker United Methodist Church. She is survived by two sons, Mervin or Wauseon, and Harold of Nakomis, Florida; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Services will be Monday, February 3, at 2 p.m. at the Grisier Funeral Home in Stryker, Reb. Dale Gensler officiating. Burial will be in Fountain Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Saturday. On May 10, 1875, she was united in marriage to Samuel Farber. To this union were born five children, Adolph, Clifford, Benjamin, Margaret, and Dale, her husband preceding her in death April 16, 1919, and Dale, September 26, 1932. She was a member of the Glenwood Lutheran church in Toledo, Ohio. She leaves to mourn, four children, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral services, conducted by Rev. Alvin E. Bell of Toledo, were held in Stryker. Interment in Fountain Grove Cemetery, Bryan. Additional Comments: Ada Schmachtenberger Farber is "daughter of Benjamin and Susan" Schmachtenberger. Farber Archold - Edna M. Farber, 89, Archbold, died Thursday afternoon, Nov. 10, 1994 at Fairlawn Haven Nursing Home after an extended illness. She had been a teacher for 35 years in Fulton County schools, retiring in 1969. Born in German Township on Sept. 15, 1905, she was the daughter of Leah (Short) and Joel Rufenacht. She was a member of the Evangelical Mennonite Church of Wauseon, where she taught Sunday School for many years and was a member of the Fulton County and Ohio Retired Teachers Associations. On June 22, 1933, she married Mervin Farber, and he survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Tom (Jeanine) Hall of Archbold; and four grandchildren. Preceding her in death were four brothers and two sisters. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the Evangelical Mennonite Church, Wauseon, with the Rev. William Hill and the Rev. David Conn officiating. Burial will follow in Pettisville Cemetery. Friends may call at the Grisler Funeral Home in Archbold after 7 p.m. Saturday and any time Sunday. John Miller was a native of Pennsylvania, but came to Richland county, Ohio at an early day. In 1835 he entered 160 acres of wild land in Brady township, Williams county, and moved on to it. Thirty years later he sold the farm which he had carved out of the wilderness and bought the land now known as the Grisier farm immediately adjoining Bryan. In 1876 he removed to Waterloo, Indiana, where he remained five years, returning in 1881 to Edgerton where he continued to reside until his death. John Miller was never a prominent man, but he was a most excellent citizen and in every respect an exemplary citizen. The funeral services were held Sunday in the Universalist church at Bryan, Rev.
