She was born Sept. 19, 1921, in Arlington to Andrew and Elizabeth Hannewald Glick, who preceded her in death. On Jan. 19, 1944, she married Walter Casper, who survives. Mrs. Casper lived in Arlington in her childhood years. She was confirmed at Good Hope Lutheran Church in 1936. She graduated from Arlington High School in 1939, where she participated on the basketball team and in school plays. She graduated as valedictorian of her class. She resided near Kenton where she and her husband engaged in farming for a number of years. They moved to Westminster in 1955 and were members of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Cridersville, where she served in many ways. In 1999, they moved to Hillsboro. Her hobbies included sewing and collecting items with butterflies. Survivors also include four children, Russell (Barbara) of Hillsboro, Richard (Jennifer) of Canton, Mich., Gerald (Karen) of Columbus and Ann (Bob) Corder of Zanesville; five grandchildren, Christian (Anne) Casper, of Cary, N.C., Andrew Casper of Philadelphia, Marine Lt. Travis Casper of Oceanside, Calif., Trevor (Stephanie) Casper of Columbus and Kyle Casper of Columbus. She was preceded in death by a grandchild, Sheri Casper; and siblings, Howard, Herbert and Harold Glick, Esther Doytari and Doris Massie. Services will begin at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Cridersville. Pastor James C. Couser will officiate. A graveside service will begin at 3 p.m. Thursday at Dola Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville (419/645-4501) and one hour before the service Thursday at the church. She had been ill for some time. Born Jan. 1, 1886, she was a daughter of Henry and Katherine Hannewald. She was married to Andrew Glick May 6, 1909 and he died June 14, 1956. Surviving are three sons, Harold, St. Marys and Howard and Herbert, Arlington; three daughters, Mrs. Doris Massie, Toledo, Mrs. Esther Baughtari, Fort Wayne, ind., and Mrs. Miriam Casper, Westminster; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Three sisters, Mary, Margaret and Matilda Hannewald, all live at Springfield. Two brothers and two sisters are dead. Mrs. Glick was a member of Good Hope Lutheran Church were services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, the Rev James Robson officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery. The body is at the Dally Funeral Home where friends may call after 3 p.m. today. It will be taken to the church at 1 p.m. tomorrow. Mr. Wasson spent his winters in Florida and was preparing to return to Ohio when he was stricken. Mr. Wasson was born March 6, 1910 in Overton (Wayne County), Ohio a son of the late John and Florence E. (George) Wasson. He was married to Mary Lucille "Susie" Wasson on September 27, 1941 and she survives him. He resided in Spencer, Ohio for many years before moving to Elyria and was employed at Ridge Tool until his retirement. Other survivors include his daughters, Mrs Edwin E. (Carolyn) Knipper and Mrs Robert L. (Nancy) Provoznik both of Elyria, 4 grandchildren and 5 great- grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his sisters Mrs Grace McClaren in 1980 and Miriam in 1901; brothers John Albert Wasson in 1924, George B. Wasson in 1979 and Joseph A. Wasson in 1995. She had resided there the past year. Mrs Wasson was born on July 20, 1915 in Homerville, Ohio, a daughter of the late Leon V. and Lucy L. (Williams) Jeffery. She was married on September 27, 1941 to Fred T. Wasson and made her home in Spencer, Ohio for many years before moving to Elyria in the early 1960's. Mrs Wasson was employed in the embroidery industry for many years both in New London as well as in her home, until her retirement. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs Edwin E. (Carolyn) Knipper of Elyria, Ohio; 4 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren and a brother Warren Dale Jeffery of Michigan. She was preceeded in death by her husband on April 22, 1999 and a daughter, Nancy Lee Provoznik in November 2001. Mr. Wasson was married to Florence Elizabeth (George) Wasson in 1897 and she proceeded him in death on September 2, 1932. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs Grace McClaren and sons Joseph A. Wasson, George B. Wasson of the Wooster area and Fred T. Wasson of Spencer, Ohio; and brothers Richard and Louis. Besides his wife he was proceeded in death by a daughter Miriam Wasson in 1901 and a son John Albert Wasson in 1924 and by sisters Mary MArtha "Mattie" in 1946, Katherine "Kate" in 1951, Amanda in 1953 and by brothers Abraham in 1869 and Thomas in 1948.
