She had been sick with pneumonia and suffered a relapse. Mrs. Dunn was an estimable lady and was loved by a very large circle of friends. She leaves a husband and seven children. The funeral was held at St. Rose’s Church on Tuesday morning last, and was one of the largest ever witnessed there. She was about 40 years of age. The sorrowing husband and motherless children have the sympathy of the community in their great loss. Additional Comments: Born about 1837 in Ireland. The obsequies were conducted by the Revs. Thomsom and Davis. After the ceremonies were concluded, all that remained of Peter Myers was escorted to Woodlawn cemetery and quietly consigned to the grave. Peter Myers was born in Allentown, Ohio, July 16th, 1836. He was a son of WILLIAM and ANNA MYERS. On the 25th of Dec., 1860, he was united in marriage to MARY F. HUME. The fruit of this union was two daughters, NANNIE, who died at the age of 9 years, and NELLIE L., the wife of J. J. KIRBY. He moved to Lima in 1864, where he went to work for the Ft. Wayne Railroad, which company he was with up to the time of his sickness. About two weeks ago he became bedfast and died on the 26th of December. WILSON, 68, Hillsboro, died Sunday, May 30, 1993 at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati. Born August 16, 1924 in Fayette County, he was the son of ALBERT WILSON and MAGGIE (WEBB) WILSON. He was a veteran of WW II. His wife, VIRGINIA WILSON, preceded him in death. One brother, RUSSELL WILSON, and one sister, GARNET COKONAUGHER (sic Cokonougher), also preceded him in death. Survivors include one son, LARRY LEE WILSON of Dayton; two daughters, HELEN ZIRKLES and DENISE E. SHOPE, both of Greenfield; two brothers, JAMES R. FURMAN and VARNEY WILSON, both of Greenfield; one sister, SARAH E. SWORD of Washington C.H.; three grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home in Hillsboro with the Rev. Robert K. Blaine officiating. STORTS, 76, Frankfort, died at 5:37 a.m. Friday, May 28, 1993 in the emergency room at Medical Center Hospital in Chillicothe. Born April 10, 1917 in Fruitdale, he was the son of GOULDA STORTS and JESSIE BELLE (PRICER) STORTS. He was a retired welding instructor with the Federal Bureau of Prisons, a WW II U.S. Army veteran, a 1935 graduate of Buckskin High School, and a member of the Joseph Ellsworth White Post No. 483 American Legion, Paint Aerie No. 1325 Fraternal Order of Eagles and Ross County Coon Hunters Association. On June 12, 1937 he married DORIS S. (SMILEY) STORTS. She preceded him in death April 16, 1988. One sister, BETTY PHILLIPS, also preceded him in death. Survivors include his father-in-law, DAVID W. SMILEY of Cross Lanes, West Virginia; one daughter, Mrs. LARRY (RUTHANNA) CLARK of Frankfort; one son, JOSEPH S. STORTS, JR., of Elkhorn, Wisconsin; nine grandchildren and spouses, KEITH and PATTI CLARK, JOHN and CATHY JO CLARK, CRAIG and SANDY CLARK, LARRY and MONDELL CLARK, MARY and GENE LUDWICK, JOE and CINDY STORTS, DEANN and JOHNNY ZALUM, KIT and MATT JOHNSON and SUSIE and DWAYNE BENNEKE; 14 great-grandchildren; three sisters, JERRIENE UNDERWOOD of Westerville, PHYLLIS DELANY of Dayton and NETTIE STORTS of Chillicothe; and three brothers, GENE STORTS of Westerville, WILBUR STORTS of Frankfort and RAY STORTS of Chillicothe. She was retired from South Central Power Company in Hillsboro, after 22 years, and was previously employed as secretary to superintendent of Greenfield Schools. A 1929 graduate of McClain High School, she was a member of Pisgah-Mt. Pleasant Federated Church, the 20th Century Club and Willow Laners. She was preceded in death by her husband, GAIL H. FINCH; a sister, ELIZABETH (GORDON) NEVIL; and two nieces, BETTY CARPENTER and MARIANNE KELLIS. She is survived by a niece, JUDY STOOKEY of Columbus; great-niece, RHONDA COOKENOUR; great-nephews, WILLIAM STOOKEY, DAVID KELLIS, THOMAS KELLIS, MARK KELLIS and RANDY COOKENOUR; and a great nephew-in-law, WILLIAM F.
