Hunsicker McGuffey, March 15, 1939 --I.T. Hunsicker, 81, retired farmer, died of influenza at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at his home in McGuffey after an illness of 10 days. He had farmed extensively in the vicinity of McGuffey for 46 years, retiring in 1932. Hunsicker, a member of the Modern Woodman Lodge, was active in civic affairs of the community, serving in public offices several years. He is survived by one daughter, Minnie Devinson of Ridgeway; 3 sons, Samuel of Dunkirk, George of McGuffey, and Floyd of Tekonsha, Mich.; 16 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the McGuffey Church of Christ, of which Hunsicker was a member, with Rev. O. E. Smith, of Rudolph, officiating. Burial will be in Alger Cemetery. The body will lie in state at the McGuffey Church of Christ from noon Thursday until time of services. Brisbin Dies Near Weston Weston- Alba Bennington Brisbin passed away Saturday morning at his home near Weston after a long illness. He was born near Weston to Eugene and Lavina Brisbin on December 13, 1873. Mr. Brisbin was married to Mary Dauterman in 1904 and to this union six children were born; Frederick, Robert, and Lyle Brisbin of Rudolph and 2 daughters, Doris Eisen and Mary McKinzie of Weslaco, Texas. A daughter Margaret and his wife Mary preceded him in death. He also leaves four grandchildren. In 1843, he was married to Della LeVeck of Liberty Center who surives him. He was a member of the Ohio National Guard, Company "H" of Bowling Green from 1902 to 1908; and a life long member of Church of Christ. Friends and relatives may call at the Loomis Funeral at Weston until noon Tuesday at which time the body will be moved to the Rudolph Church for services at 2 o'clock in the afternoon. The Rev. Herbert Johnson of Custar, assisted by the Rev. Herbert Smith of Rudolph, will conduct services. Burial will be at the Rudolph Cemetery.
