Relatives believe that the young man met with foul play. Coshocton Daily Times of Coshocton, Ohio Sept 27, 1913 Investigating GAULT'S Death. Believing that there may have been foul play in the death of Otto C. GAULT, 27, of Frazeysburg, at Red Bud, Illinois, his uncle, Attornery Joseph W. GAULT lef Frazeysburg two weeks ago to go west in search of a position, and when he left he had several hundred dollars in his pockets. This money is missing, as his body was sent to Neward without a cent in the clothing. There were no marks of violence on the body, but investigation revealed the fact that the man't neck had been broken. The right hip pocket had been cut from his trousers. Undertakers at Red Bud, who forwarded the body, had the remains labeled unknown, although Mrs. Emma PRIEST (typo should read PRESTON) of Monogahelia, PA., had heard of the death and ordered the undertakers to send the remains to Ohio. The young man was killed Sunday when he fell from a Mobil & Ohio train at Red Bud. He was a highly respected young man. Nov 6, 1902 Cave-In Frank Gault Buried in Sand At Vogelmeiere's Brick Yard Tuesday Afternoon. Not Seriously Injured Frank Gault, an employee at the Vogelmier Bros' Brick yard in Franklin's addition, was seriously injured by a cave in of sand and clay late Tuesday afternoon. Mr. Gault was digging in the sand bank which was situated under a bank of clay, and when the cave in took place he was buried completely, with the exception of one hand. This fact probably saved the man's life. With the aid of his free hand he scraped the sand and clay away from his face, when he was able to call for help. Several men who were at work in the stone quarry near by came to his assistance and after digging for some time, pulled the thoroughly exhausted man out. Physicians were called and on examination it was found that although no bones were broken, his abdomen was crushed in and he was injured internally, but not necessarily seriously. He was taken to his home near the quarry and is feeling better today.
