William Bryan Wisecup, 78, Lyndon Rt. 1 (Ross County), died at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Greenfield Municipal Hospital following a lingering illness. Born in Paulding County, Nov. 22, 1897, he was the son of Joseph Wisecup and Ruth Herdman Wisecup. He was a member of the Greenfield Eagles Lodge. On April 24, 1920, he married the former Ollie Smith, who survives. Also surviving are four sons, Robert E.Wisecup, Livonia, Mich.; Frank H. Wisecup, South Salem; William B. Wisecup, Greenfield and Charles L. Wisecup, Washington C.H.; six daughters, Mrs. William (Dorothy) Scheeler and Mrs. James (Margaret) Haines, both of Greenfield; Mrs. Robert (Ruth) Riehle, Lyndon Rt. 1; Mrs. Richard (Mary) Barney, Columbus; Mrs. Eugene (Virginia) Cockerill, Frankfort Rt. 2, and Mrs. Charles (Barbara) Miller, Xenia; three brothers, Edward Wisecup, Lyndon Rt. 1; James Wisecup, Greenfield, and Raymond Wisecup, Washington C.H.; one sister, Mrs. Annabelle Howard, Greenfield; 28 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, three brothers, one sister and one grandson. Service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Murray Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Ken Marckel. Burial will follow in South Salem Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Friday. Eagles service will be held at 8 p.m. Friday. Marguerite A. Webb, 64, Chillicothe (Ross County), formerly of Leesburg, died 8:05 p.m. Saturday in Ross Medical Center. Born June 23, 1913, in Zanesville, she was the daughter of Noah and Rhea O'Lowery Davis. A retired registered nurse, she received her bachelor of science degree in nursing in 1934 from Bethesda Hospital School of Nursing in Zanesville. She had been employed at the Veterans Administration Hospital, Chillicothe. Surviving are her step-mother, Mrs. Martha Davis, Zanesville; two sons, Michael L. Webb, Houston, Texas, and Albert J. Webb, Chillicothe; a daughter, Mrs. Dean (Anne) Rinehart, Chillicothe; five grandchildren; a brother, Edwin Davis, Tucson, Ariz., and a half-brother, Harry O. Davis, LaVale, Md. A sister preceded her in death. Graveside service was held 1 p.m. Tuesday at Woodlawn Cemetery, Zanesville, with Rev. Clair Emerick officiating. The name of the newspaper is not on the clipping. Daniel Hixon. Daniel Hixon, son of Wm. and Matilda Cox Hixon, born Nov. 2, 1852, at South Salem, was stricken with paralysis on Feb. 3 and departed this life on Feb. 22, at his home in Bourneville. His age was 77 years, three months and twenty days. Mr. Hixon had lixed in Ross county most of his life. He is survived by his wife and two daughters Mrs. Julia Treber of Bainbridge and Mrs. Florence Dickerson, of Washington C.H., 6 grand children, several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. He was a kind and loving husband and he will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. Funeral services were held Monday, 2 p.m., at Bourneville M.E. church. The burial was at Bainbridge. He had been in ill health for the past two years. He was a retired machinast for Westinghouse in Columbus. Mr. Neal is survived by his wife, Violet Coder Neal; his mother, Hattie K. Neal, Frankfort Rt. 2; two sons, Eddie and Thomas, both at home; a daughter, Mrs. Nancy Kochenderfer, of Columbus, and a granddaughter, Kelly Kochenderfer, Columbus. His father, Dan Neal, preceded him in death. Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the Pleasant Corner Church, SR 665 and US 23 intersection. She held a bachelor of science degree from Wittenburg University and was a graduate of Buckskin Valley High School, class of 1914. She was a member of the local, state and national Retired Teachers Association and the Covenant Presbyterian Church. She is survived by one brother, Ersie Miller, Springfield; a niece, Mrs. Charles (Julia) Kussmaul, Hillsboro; three nephews, Dr. Dave Miller, Warsaw, Ind.; Earl Miller, Columbus, and Grant Miller, Obo, Ohio; and six great grand nieces. She was preceded in death by a sister, Visie Lattie. Service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel of Covenant Presbyterian Church, officiated by Rev. Richard Whittington. He was a World War I veteran, and was a retired carpenter. Service will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Murray funeral home. Interment will be made in McDonald cemetery, Lattaville. The American Legion will accord military honors. Mr. Miller is survived by a sister, Mrs. Ethel C. Toomey, Amelia Rt. 2, and three nephews.
