Died of colon cancer March 26 at his home in Holly Hill Florida. He was 68. He is survived by his Wife of 48 yrs. Laverne Hunley and his son Ronald Jr. of Milford; two daughters Linda Heintz of Hillsboro, Ohio, and Roxanne Mescer of Williamsburg, Ohio. Also survived by three brothers, James, Raymond, Kenneth Hunley. and three sisters, Mary Dalton, Thelma Hunley, and Margaret Mayfield. Five grand children and five great grand children. Masonic services were held April 6 with interment at Graceland Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Milford. Additional Comments: Mr Hunley was a member of Milford Lodge F&AM and served as a past master in the 1970's. He was also a member of the Scottish Rite, and the Covert Chapter 437 of the Eastern Star. Former resident of Hillsboro, Ohio. James is survived by one son Steve Hunley, Of Menomonie WI. and three grand children, Courtney, Lindsey, and Tyler all of Hillsboro Ohio. Three sisters Mary Dalton, Margaret Mayfield, Thelma Hunley and One brother Kenneth Hunley. He was preceded in Death by his Parents James Porter and Elva Maria Hunley, His wife Mary Margaret "Butterbaugh" Hunley. Four brothers, Ralph Eugene, Ronald "Buddy", William "Richard",and Raymond.No services are being planned. Arramgement were made at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie WI. Additional Comments: Mr Hunley was a heavy equipment engineer, setting steel for bridges and big buildings here in Ohio for many years. Mr Hunley helped set the steel for the "Big Mac Bridge" in Cincinnati. Mr Hunley was also a Mason.
