Joel Cook

Prominent Farmer Dies

Joel Cook, aged 68 years, passed away at his home on Union Road, last Thursday
morning at 7 o'clock.
Mr. Cook was a well-known and highly esteemed farmer, and had spent most of his
life in this community.
He is survived by his widow, two sons, Clarence of Franklin, and Henry, who
resided with his parents on the farm, and one grandson.
Funeral services were held at the home, on Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
Burial in Woodhill Cemetery.
