1st one

CIVIL WAR VETERAN DIES.

Robert Kind, age 83, the last of the Civil War veterans at Roachester passed
away Monday night at 11:14 after a year's illness. Surviving are a sister, Miss
Belle Kind who made her home with Mr. kind, and a nephew, Howard Dodson, of
Washington, D. C. His wife preceded him in death a number of years ago.

Mr. Kind was a native of Peterboro, England. He came to this country very early
in his life.

Funeral services will be held at the Roachester M. E. Church Thursday afternoon
at 2 o'clock central standard time. Burial will be made at Goshen.
