Early Tuesday morning death released the spirit of Harlan Sawyer aged 63, at his late residence in the Decker Hotel, and his long years of suffering came to an end. He had been an invalid for the past twenty years and for ten he has been unable to walk. Until a few months ago he was patiently cared for by his faithful wife but the strain was too much and she preceded him to the Beyond. Since then friends have ministered to his needs. During all these years of suffering he has shown indomitable courage and wonderful patience, always appearing cheerful and jovial. Funeral services for the deceased will be held at the First Presbyterian Church this (Thursday) afternoon at 2:00 o'clock. Interment will be made in Lebanon Cemetery.
