On May 24, 1892, she was united in marriage to Leo Schuyler. Their home was blessed with three children, Florence, Monty, and William. Mr. Schuyler and a son Monty preceded her in death. When a small child, Mrs. Schuyler united with the Baptist church at New Hope and for the past several years has been a member of the East Baptist church of Lebanon, which she faithfully attended until she was forced to retire on account of illness. Besides her two children, Florence Elizabeth and William Schuyler, of Lebanon, she is survived by seven grandchildren, two of whom are serving in the armed forces, seven great-grandchildren, two brothers, William of Newtonville, Clifford of Dayton, and a host of relatives and friends. ------------------------------------------------------ ILLNESS FATAL TO LOCAL RESICENT Rites Held Saturday Afternoon for Mrs. Rachel Schuyler Following a two-months illness, Mrs. Rachel Schuyler, aged 71, died at her home on North Mechanic Street at 7 p.m. Thursday. A native of Pleasant Plain, she had lived in Lebanon practically her lifetime. She was a member of the East Baptist Church. Funeral services in charge of Rev. M. G. Mittelstedt were held Saturday afternoon at the Oswald Funeral Home with interment in Lebanon Cemetery .
