Marietta Register, pg. 3, col. 2, 'Thursday March 6, 1873
Mr. Wm. Boothby, of Harmar, died on Friday morning last, after a very long and 
painful illness.  He was buried on Sunday, at Warren Chapel, eight miles from 
town, with Masonic honors - a few brethren of Marietta and Harmar attending 
the remains.  The venerable Pardon Cook accompanied the procession and 
officiated at the Chapel.

Additional Comments:
William S. Boothby, b. 1825 in Warren Twp., Washington Co., OH.  Married 
Martha Poland b. 1826 in VA, died 1912 in Marietta, Washington Co., OH.  Their 
marriage date was:  September 4, 1845 in Washington Co.  Parents of William S. 
Boothby were:  Robert N. Boothby b. England and Isabella Chambers b. Ireland.
William and Martha had 11 children that I can find.
