He was born Oct. 30, 1841, a son of John H., and Mary Ann (Ferguson) Burchett. During the Civil War he served as a member of Co. H, 36th O.V.I. On May 29, 1868, he was united in marriage to Miss Lena Cutter, who preceded him in death on Jan. 13, 1903. The funeral services were held on Friday, March 29th, at the Presbyterian church. Burial was made at Beverly. Additional Comments: This couple had one child named Flora Burchett (January 31, 1868). Parents of Lena Cutter: father - Louis J. Cutter of Bavaria. mother - Eve Eleanor ? of Bavaria. There were 10 kids in the Cutter family: Christiana, Chas., George, William, Frederick, Cath., Elizabeth, Louis, Lena, & Louisa. They lived in Watertown Twp., Washington Co., OH as well.
