John W., son of James and Fanny Davis of Warren Township came to his death by 
drowning while bathing in the Muskingum river Tuesday, July 21st; his age was 
18 years 8 months and 13 days.  His remains were followed to the grave by a 
large number of mourning relatives and friends and the M.E. Sunday School of 
which he was a faithful scholar.  Many were the tears dropped to his memory.

Additional Comments:
He is buried in the Bethel Cemetery, Warren Twp., Washington Co., OH.
