Walter Hupp

Walter Hupp, 64, of Lowell, died at his home Sunday morning following a heart 
attack.

He was born Dec. 30, 1900, at Caldwell, a son of Elijah and Nora Boyd Hupp, 
and was a member of Lowell Methodist Church.

He was also a member of Lowell Lodge No. 436 AF&AM.   On Dec. 17, 1924, he was 
married to the former Dorothy Dixon, who survives.

Mr. Hupp is also survived by six brothers.  Homer Hupp of Belpre, Ellis Hupp 
of Wellsville, Clifford Hupp and Ted Hupp of Marietta and Tom Hupp and Harry 
Hupp; three sisters, Mrs. Della Augestine and Mrs. Edna Schwendeman, both of 
Lowell and Mrs. Mary Mallet of Fort Wayne, Ind.  He was preceded in death by a 
brother, Jay Hupp.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Lowell Methodist Church with the Rev. 
J. Lee Gorman officiating.  Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.  
Arrangements are in charge of People's Funeral Home.  Lowell, where friends 
may call from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm today and tomorrow.  The family requests 
that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Washington County Heart Assn.
